Elementum Energy Limited, a London-based company, is the leading international investor in Ukraine’s renewable energy sector. Established in 2019, Elementum Energy has rapidly expanded to own and operate one of the largest renewable energy portfolios in Ukraine, consisting of solar and wind plants located across the country with a total installed capacity of 636 MWp. With the primary focus on providing dependable clean energy from sustainable renewable sources, Elementum Energy’s team operates from the offices in Kyiv, London and Odesa, and its expertise spans the management of solar and wind power plants, as well as development and construction of renewable energy projects. Committed to supporting "green" rebuilding, Elementum Energy is actively involved in over 200 MW of wind projects in development, and aims to expand to other renewable energy technologies. As strong advocates fora low-carbon and sustainable future, the company strives to make a lasting positive impact on the environment and communities.
Currently, we focus our development efforts in two projects in Odesa region, a home to the100 MW-strong Dnistrovska wind park, whose second phase was commissioned despite the challenges of the full-scale invasion. The first project, Lymanska Wind Park, developed in collaboration with Ukraine Power Resources, would feed additional 158.6 MW in the peak hours to the grid once commissioned and estimates to generate 600 GWh of renewable energy annually. The Danube Project, consisting of three smaller wind parks, would reach 58.8 MW peak and expected to produce 190 GWh of low carbon electricity each year. The start of construction of both projects is initially scheduled in 2025. Our team is open to exploring powering up the projects with the storage systems, advocates for investor-friendly regulations capable of attracting investments for building back better and ready to deliver.
