DTEK Renewables is the trendsetter in the Ukrainian renewable energy market. The history of DTEK Renewables as part of DTEK Group started in 2008 to implement the strategy of developing and managing renewable energy projects in Ukraine. Since then, 5 wind and 3 solar power plants and 6 battery energy storage systems have been successfully constructed, with a combined capacity of 1.3 GW. DTEK Renewables has invested a total of EUR 2.1 billion in the development of Ukraine’s energy sector.

DTEK Renewables manages the full project cycle, from the development and construction of energy facilities to their operation and maintenance. Our key to success is a team of professionals with Ukrainian and international experience, and unique expertise in the construction and restoration of wind, solar farms and battery energy storage systems under the conditions of a full-scale war. We believe that the development of distributed power generation, such as wind energy, makes the energy system more resilient. DTEK Renewables’ goal is to build new renewable energy facilities in Ukraine.
Our recently implemented project
Stage I of DTEK Tyligulska WPP, 114 MW was constructed amid a full-scale war and commissioned in May 2023.
Ukraine’s largest battery energy storage project with 6 BESS – total capacity of 200 MW in September 2025.

Stage II of DTEK Tyligulska WPP, 384 MW.
Final stage of development
DTEK Poltavska WPP with a planned capacity of 650 MW. DTEK PoltavskaWind Power Plant will become one of the largest wind farms in Eastern Europeand the largest private energy project in the history of independent Ukraine. Theoperation of the wind farm will cover 5% of the Ukraine’s household electricityconsumption. The location of the project is strategically important — onthe energy-deficient left bank of Ukraine.Stage II of DTEK Tyligulska WPP, 384 MW.
- The total cost of the project is 1.2 billioneuros.
- The projected annual generation is 2.1 billion kWh.
- Enough to meet the needs of 1 millionhouseholds.
- The wind farm will reduce CO₂ emissions to 2.5 million tons per year.
The project is in the final stage of development, the company is working to attract financing from international financial institutions.
DTEK Renewables has initiated and is actively implementing long-term cooperation with the community on the implementation of social projects.
